Jim Allan’s background and experience include over 25 years in the commercial banking industry in Florida. He served in the Michigan Air National Guard as an Accounting and Finance Officer. He came to Sarasota from Michigan in 1984 as an organizer and president of a new bank being formed. After several successful years, the bank was profitably sold, and Jim continued working in key commercial lending and management positions.
